If you will be a reporter, are you going to use the conventional way of how each the media will broadcast the given scenario?
If I will be a reporter, I may start to consider new ways of broadcasting the given scenario, especially if these new ways cater to what most of audience needs. However, of course, this does not mean that I may not also use the conventional way in a different setting.
What will you do to not make your report boring? Elaborate your answer.
To not make my report boring, I will make sure that I will cater to the interests and needs of the majority of the viewers without sacrificing my integrity as a news presenter. There has to be always a correlation between the audience and the message of my report, and if possible, I will not make my report lengthy so as to keep their attention and listen attentively.
Would you exaggerate some elements in your report to make it interesting? Why?
No, I will not exaggerate some elements in my report to make it interesting. As what I have mentioned above, I will try to make the report interesting without sacrificing the accuracy of the report and my integrity as the fourth estate.

Predict
how this event will be covered by television, radio, print, and Internet.
|
The
coverage of this event will be different depending on the medium. By
television, it may be broadcasted live to many viewers. The people will have
the first-hand experience of hearing or watching the news. By radio, it is
almost the same except that it will only offer audio, but nevertheless, it
will still be a live interview or coverage. By Internet, it can also be
viewed live by people through various social media sites like Facebook
(Facebook Live) and Twitter. Social media handlers of news outlets can also
post updates about the event. With print media, this event will be covered
late, most likely a day after. Newspapers do not have the capacity similar to
the previous media mentioned. News undergoes a thorough and systematic
process of data gathering and editing before it is available for the readers’
use.
|
How
does the presentation of facts may vary from medium to medium?
|
The presentation
of facts varies immensely in such a way that accuracy and rightness is
involved. With a live coverage, almost everything is viewed. However in this
kind of issue wherein a protest is happening, not everyone can get the
initial idea one party is trying to communicate to another. Also, there are
times when footage is cut and edited. These may happen to media such as
television, radio, and the Internet. With print media, news writers already
gathered everything they need for an article. It will be edited and checked
by various editors for accuracy and credibility. It is a tedious process that
is why it is often late

medium?
|
I can
say that a very appropriate amount of these differences will be based on the
unique characteristics of the medium basically because every medium has its
own distinctive qualities on how to broadcast and publish information.

Latest Trends in Technology (Intelligent Things)
The capability of smart machines increases substantially as they are infused with standalone intelligence.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning will be embedded into everyday things like appliances, cars, sensors and drones. Even our thermostats will continue to become more intelligent; they will not only learn our heating and cooling preferences, but also analyze factors like on- or off-peak use, weather forecasts, and previous consumption patterns to give us recommendations to reduce utilities bills.
This intelligence will be coded into apps. These apps will be driven by data and context, they will synthesize vast amounts of information, learn our behaviors, and react and adapt in real time to deliver relevant and personalized outcomes. Whether they make us more productive at work, optimize our health, or manage energy and utilities consumption in our homes, intelligent things and apps have the power to direct our actions and influence our interactions to help us make better decisions and, ultimately, improve our quality of life.
